This is a brilliant new research project management opportunity, overseeing the delivery of research for this global market research agency.

The role offers huge opportunity to step into one of the best research project management teams in the industry – a team which is widely regarded as being the gold standard of PM both within the agency, and in the wider research industry.

This newly created AD role will have day-to day responsibility for the management of two successful project management teams. You will be a natural leader and the ’go to’ person for any questions about the research from a project management perspective. Working with internal teams (pm, research, fieldwork, operations) and internal and external clients, you will represent ‘project management’ in terms of client pitches, costings and inputting into proposals eg. being the expert on fieldwork and operational costs.

As a manager, you’ll be given the time to think more strategically both in terms of overseeing the transformation of some sizeable projects, delivering the research and leading your project management teams - ensuring they have all the tools and information they need to ensure the successful management and delivery of ad hoc, tracking and syndicated research.
You will be involved in project planning and scoping, creating and implementing best practice and reviewing processes; ensuring the projects are even more efficient - we need someone who is always on the lookout for better ways of working.
For this role, we need a client facing, project management leader; a confident and nurturing manager who can lead and develop the team; identifying skills gaps, training and sharing knowledge.
With strong financial acumen (and ideally experience in costing for research fieldwork and operational parts of research) this role would suit a senior project manager of fieldwork manager with drive, spark and energy who wants to progress in a project management role with a strong leadership focus.
First class communication skills and excellent attention to detail are essential, and someone who is dedicated, conscientious and approachable with a natural affinity for people management.
This is a very people-oriented research business: they focus on their employees and developing long term relationships with their clients and this comes right from the top. And there is plenty of opportunity to progress to Director level.
