A leading London law firm is seeking an Arbitration Associate to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team, specialising in complex international arbitration and sovereign disputes.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Arbitration Associate to work on high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes involving sovereign states, multinational businesses, financial institutions and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The role offers exposure to international commercial arbitration, public international law and complex cross-border litigation within a collaborative and market-leading team.
The Arbitration Associate role:
Managing key workstreams on complex international arbitration and commercial litigation matters Advising on international commercial arbitration, sovereign disputes and public international law Drafting submissions, pleadings, witness statements and key correspondence Managing large-scale disclosure and e-disclosure exercises Supporting hearings, settlement negotiations and arbitration proceedings Liaising with counsel, expert witnesses, investigators and international legal teams Assisting on matters before ICC, LCIA, DIAC, LMAA and ICSID tribunals Supporting business development through articles, pitches, networking and client events Building and maintaining strong client relationships across international marketsThe successful Arbitration Associate:
Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in international arbitration Experience advising on complex cross-border disputes Exposure to public international law or sovereign-related disputes would be advantageous Excellent drafting, analytical and advocacy skills Experience managing disclosure exercises and e-disclosure platforms Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines Commercially minded with an interest in business development Experience in construction, aviation or investment treaty arbitration (ICSID/UNCITRAL) would be beneficialWhat's on offer:
