Associate - Electronic Fixed Income Sales

We are mandated by a global investment bank to hire an Associate into its London-based e-Fixed Income Sales team. The role focuses on electronic distribution across Rates and SSA products to institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Distribute electronic Rates products (IRS, STIR, inflation, government bonds) and SSA bonds across institutional accounts
2. Drive flow via RFQ and streaming platforms, increasing electronic penetration and execution efficiency
3. Partner closely with Rates and SSA trading desks to optimise pricing, liquidity and client coverage
4. Identify curve, RV and macro-driven opportunities across sovereign and SSA markets
5. Support SSA primary activity through active investor dialogue and secondary liquidity provision
6. Contribute directly to revenue within a disciplined, high-volume flow environment

Candidate Profile

1. Required: 2–5 years’ experience in electronic Rates distribution. Candidates with FI sales experience will be considered also.
2. Strong understanding of interest rate markets, sovereign curves and SSA issuers
3. Experience covering institutional clients (AM, HF, banks) in a flow Rates environment
4. Familiarity with electronic trading platforms and RFQ workflows
5. Clear commercial mindset with evidence of revenue contribution
