£50,000 – £70,000

FutureGen Recruitment is representing a highly respected
consultancy seeking an MRTPI Associate Planner to take a leadership role within
its Norwich team.

This is a key hire for the business, offering responsibility
for strategic housing delivery, Local Plan promotion and client relationship
management across East Anglia. The successful candidate will combine technical
planning strength with commercial awareness and leadership capability.

The Role

  • Leading
    major residential planning applications and strategic site promotions
  • Managing
    key landowner, developer and promoter client accounts
  • Overseeing
    Local Plan submissions, representations and examination preparation
  • Leading
    appeal strategies and coordinating hearing/inquiry teams
  • Mentoring
    junior planners and supporting team development
  • Supporting
    business development activity, pitches and fee proposals
  • Managing
    project budgets, resourcing and delivery programmes

About You

  • MRTPI
    qualified (essential)
  • Strong
    consultancy or developer -side planning experience
  • Proven
    ability to lead complex projects and manage client expectations
  • Strong
    commercial awareness and interest in business growth
  • Experience
    mentoring staff and overseeing quality control
