Associate - Private Wealth Disputes

Currently seeking an Associate (Solicitor or Legal Executive) to join the Private Wealth Disputes Team based in Guildford.

Day to Day

As an Associate, you will manage your own caseload of mixed private wealth dispute matters, as well as assist the Partner and Senior Associates on the more complex and involved instructions coming through the department. There will also be plenty of scope for you to assume the day -to -day responsibility for such matters, under the supervision of one of the senior lawyers. Additionally, our Associates play a vital role in the support and development of the less -experienced members of the department, including Trainee and Newly Qualified Solicitors.

Given the breadth of our expertise in this niche area of law, this position will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity for further professional development and growth. They will be encouraged to play an active role in the marketing and business development activities of the team, as well as having a say in the longer -term strategic aims of the department.

What We Look For

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with prior experience in the field of Private Wealth Disputes. As this area of law is relatively niche, we are open to hearing from lawyers who currently have a mixed caseload that involves some private wealth disputes, and who are keen to specialise in this field.
  

• We do not tend to use PQE as the sole measure of experience, but we estimate this position would suit somebody with between 2 -4 PQE. Ultimately, we are keen to hear from individuals who are currently at or feel ready to step into an Associate role, and who are keen to develop further as part of our specialist team.
  

• You will have experience in, or a keen interest to be involved in, marketing and business development activities.
