What’s the role?
As an Associate Product Manager, you will help develop and improve digital products that make a real difference to Lewisham’s residents, businesses and staff. You will take ownership of a digital product, or a defined set of features within a larger product, shaping its vision, roadmap and priorities while using evidence and user insight to guide decisions.
Working alongside product designers, software developers, architects and other specialists, you will turn user and business needs into accessible, usable digital services. You will engage with stakeholders and partner organisations, facilitate workshops and demonstrations, manage a prioritised product backlog, and define measures that show whether the product is delivering the intended outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their product management career within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. You will gain experience across the full product lifecycle, including discovery, development, testing, launch and operational support, while contributing to digital services that meet the changing needs of a growing borough.

Good understanding and experience of gathering and clarifying business requirements

Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary
£47,367 - £49,509 per annum per annum (PO2)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
