Associate – Property Law | Northcote Road (Clapham)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate with solid experience in Property Law to join Laurus at our Northcote Road office.

You'll be a qualified solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years' post-qualified experience, although we are happy to consider relevant pre-qualified experience. You will need to be pragmatic, have an eye for detail, and be prepared to think on your feet.

What we're looking for

• Expertise in Property Law: You have solid experience across a wide range of residential property matters, with technical expertise and outstanding client care skills. You approach your work with pragmatism, precision, and adaptability, thriving in our fast-paced environment.


• Ambition and Drive: You have the ambition to work in a dynamic environment and may wish to be considered for a future leadership role. You are ready to grow with the firm and take on increasing responsibility over time.


• Collaborative Team-Player: You work closely with senior lawyers and the Head of our Northcote Road office, contributing to the smooth operation of the department and upholding Laurus' high service standards at every turn.


• Community Focus: You understand the value of relationships. Working within the close-knit local community of Clapham and the surrounding neighbourhoods, you'll play an active role in nurturing client and introducer relationships that matter.
  
  

Key areas of expertise

• Sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgages of residential leasehold and freehold property.


• Lease extensions.


• Auction sales and purchases.


• Managing and building relationships with clients and introducers.


• Supervising paralegals, trainees, and support staff.
