• Sensitive, high-risk work, from disrepair and building safety to ASB and fire safety, alongside large-scale development and regeneration

The role

• Defend disrepair claims
  
• Run possession and injunction proceedings for tenancy breach
  
• Handle service charge disputes in the First-Tier Tribunal
  
• Own your caseload and client relationships
  
• Support complex, strategic sector projects
  
• Get involved in business development
  
• Mentor junior colleagues
  
• Help shape the growth of the Bristol practice
  

Scope grows with seniority.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with social housing or related experience
  
• Strong technical and commercial skills
  
• Clear communication and good client instincts
  
• Solid organisation and matter management
  
• A real interest in where the housing sector is heading
  

Senior candidates: experience of building client relationships, supervising juniors and contributing to BD will help.
