Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established and growing planning consultancy with a strong presence across the UK, who are looking to appoint an Associate Town Planner / Associate Partner to join their team.

The business works across a diverse range of planning projects and provides strategic planning and development advice to a broad client base, including landowners, developers and private clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner who wants greater responsibility, increased client exposure and a genuine route towards partnership.

The Role

As an Associate Town Planner / Associate Partner, you will take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of planning projects while developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will be involved in:

Managing a varied caseload of planning projects from inception through to determination
* Providing strategic planning advice to private clients, landowners and developers
* Preparing and submitting planning applications
* Leading planning appraisals and development strategies
* Preparing planning statements, representations and appeal submissions
* Managing planning negotiations with local planning authorities
* Attending client meetings and site visits
* Building and maintaining strong client relationshipInterested?
