Assurance and Certification Manager

A Managed Service Provider client of ours is looking for an Assurance and Certification Manager to lead the certification, compliance, and internal audit frameworks, ensuring high standards across their global operations.

• Manage certification and recertification projects, including ISO 27001, 9001, 14001, 45001, EcoVadis, and emerging AI standards.
• Act as the primary contact for certification bodies, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
• Develop and oversee internal and external audit programs, producing detailed management reports with KPIs.
• Conduct risk assessments, maintain non-conformance logs, and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and support acquisition integration.
• Deliver training and build relationships with stakeholders to promote compliance best practices.
• Lead process optimization and influence quality and security strategies.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in certification, compliance, assurance, and internal audit management.
• Expertise in ISO accreditations (e.g., 9001, 27001, 14001, 45001, 22301, 20000) and AI standards.
• Proven audit and risk assessment experience, ideally in a complex IT environment.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, ISO Lead Auditor) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a growth mindset.
• Collaborative leader with attention to detail and strategic thinking.

• Up to £70,000
• Hybrid working – Location: London with occasional travel to Portsmouth
