ASW Team Manager

I am currently representing Westminster Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a ASW Team Manager this role will be based at: 7E Woodfield Road, London, Westminster, W9 3XZ

The right candidate will:

Westminster City Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Locality Mental Health Team Manager to lead one of our Adult Social Care Community Mental Health Locality Teams.

* Lead and manage Community Mental Health Locality Teams within Adult Social Care.

* Ensure compliance with the Care Act, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and associated legislation.

* Manage service performance against key performance indicators, quality standards and financial targets.

* Oversee a specialist dual diagnosis function supporting adults with complex mental health and substance misuse needs.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHS partners, voluntary sector organisations and other stakeholders.

* Provide professional leadership, supervision and support to social workers and multidisciplinary staff.

We require the following:

* Significant experience working with adults and older adults experiencing severe and enduring mental health conditions.

* Proven leadership and management experience within Adult Social Care or Community Mental Health Services.

* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.

* Experience of multidisciplinary partnership working.
