Atendance Officer

Monarch Education is working with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit experienced Attendance Officers for full-time opportunities.

These roles are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, although start and finish times may vary depending on the individual school's requirements.

Please note: We cannot consider applications from candidates who do not have previous experience working within a UK school environment.

To be considered, you must have:

Previous experience working as an Attendance Officer, Attendance Administrator or School Administrator within a UK school
Experience using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, ScholarPack or similar
Experience managing attendance, pupil records and safeguarding procedures
Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
Strong administrative, communication and organisational skills
Confidence working with attendance data and reporting systemsAs an Attendance Officer, you may be responsible for:

Monitoring and recording pupil attendance and punctuality
Producing and analysing attendance reports
Following up on pupil absences with parents and carers
Maintaining accurate attendance records
Working closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams
Supporting attendance improvement initiatives across the school
Managing attendance data through school management systems
Ensuring compliance with school and local authority attendance proceduresWe're looking for candidates who:

Have previous attendance experience within a school setting
Are confident using school systems and Microsoft Office
Have excellent attention to detail
Can manage sensitive information professionally and confidentially
Have strong communication skills and are confident liaising with parents, staff and external agencies
