Attendance Mentor

• Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
• Contract: Fixed Term (1 year), Part-Time (25 hours/week, 44 weeks/year)
• Salary: £18,152 – £19,471 (actual annual salary)
• Working Hours: 7:30am – 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Start Date: September 2025

• Build strong, supportive relationships with students and their families.
• Conduct home visits to encourage and facilitate school attendance.
• Mentor students to identify and overcome challenges affecting their engagement.
• Collaborate with school staff and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to attendance strategies.

• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential (vehicle provided).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic, resilient, and solution-focused.
• Experience working with young people or in a pastoral/support role is desirable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
