A successful and inclusive secondary school in Leicester
is seeking a dedicated Attendance Officer to join their pastoral and safeguarding team from January 2026.

The Role

You will play a key role in improving pupil attendance and promoting positive engagement. Duties include:

• Monitoring daily registers and student punctuality


• Making first-day absence calls and home communication


• Preparing attendance reports for Heads of Year and SLT


• Coordinating attendance panels and parent meetings


• Liaising with external agencies where required


• Supporting safeguarding protocols linked to absence
