This is a critical role in our pastoral team; you will be the bridge between the school and the home, ensuring that every child is safe, accounted for, and supported in their educational journey.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Monitoring patterns of absence across different student cohorts and providing weekly reports to the Senior Leadership Team.

• Parental Engagement: Chairing attendance panels with parents and carers to discuss the impact of absence on academic progress and wellbeing.

• Safeguarding: Acting as a key link to the Safeguarding team, identifying students whose absence may indicate wider welfare concerns.

• Celebration of Success: Leading on school-wide initiatives to celebrate high attendance, including assemblies and certificate ceremonies.
