Job Description - ATU Engineer

The position is within a diverse test facility team| responsible for supporting testing in terms of fuel injection development| validation| and new technologies. The current scope of the facility includes engine test cells| climatic chambers| thermal vibration rigs| hydraulic rigs| and a test vehicle garage. The successful person must be able to adapt and be part of the changing world of propulsion| having an open and enquiring mind across a diverse facility\n\n\nKey responsibilities\n\n Be part of a diverse testing team.\n Advanced test setup hardware / software\n Writing and editing test programs\n High level data manipulation\n Good communication skills\n Writing| editing| and debugging test programs\n Manipulating hardware and software to meet the requested parameters\n Fault finding in terms of test facility and product\n Monitoring of tests / in test interventions\n Data capture and fault reporting to internal customer base\n Calibration support of the test facility\n Instrumentation set-up and maintenance\n Working with the internal customer base to meet the given project expectations\n Working to given priorities\n Maintain test in given test parameters\n In test conformance checks (Validation / Endurance)\n RISK assessment technology deployment\n Work instruction creation\n Work in a safe manner observing safety protocols for the given area\n Work to the given processes (documented)\n Training\n Advanced test facility understanding\n Maintain test tracking / status process
