Job purpose \n\nThe position of Technician requires the need to support all facets of testing| across the Centre Of Excellence test facility| the facilities include Engine Test (Performance & Validation)| Vehicle Test| Rig Test (Performance & Validation)| Specialist Environmental rigs| NVH rigs and FIE (fuel injection equipment) build.\n\n\nSkills Mandatory\n\n Intermediate mechanical fitting skills\n Basic knowledge of fuel injection system functionality\n Basic Instrumentation set-up / operational skills\n Basic data acquisition skills\n Intermediate computer (MS office) skills\n Basic test equipment programming examples: (AVL Puma / National Instruments / editing skills)\n Basic engine function understanding\n Either or both: Basic rig function understanding / Basic engine test bed understanding\n Good Communication skills\n Basic RISK assessment skills\n Sustain the BorgWarner values in your area of influence.\n\n\nDesirable \n\n Advanced mechanical fitting skills\n Intermediate knowledge of fuel injection system functionality\n Intermediate instrumentation set-up / operational skills\n Intermediate data acquisition / manipulation skills\n Advanced Computer (MS office) skills\n Intermediate test equipment programming (AVL Puma / National Instruments) / editing skills \n Intermediate engine function understanding\n
