Audit & Accounts Manager

About the Role The Audit & Accounts Manager will be responsible for handling a varied client portfolio across multiple industries. They will manage audit projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide expert advisory services. Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing audit engagements from initial planning through to completion.
• Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant auditing standards.
• Leading and mentoring a team of auditors and accountants to maintain a high-performance environment.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance business development and service offerings.
• Reviewing financial statements and providing valuable insights to clients.
• Collaborating with partners to enhance operational efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be an experienced audit professional with strong technical expertise and leadership abilities. They should have a proven track record of managing diverse client accounts and driving business growth.
Key Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong background in audit and accounts within a UK accountancy practice.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and audit regulations.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Commercially minded with strong communication and presentation skills.
