Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + benefits + hybrid working

Are you an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager looking for your next challenge in a supportive and growing firm?

TPF Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking and well-established accountancy practice in Croydon who are looking to welcome a new Audit and Accounts Manager to their team.

This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys the variety of a mixed portfolio and thrives in a client-facing environment. You’ll be stepping into a firm with a great reputation, ambitious growth plans, and a genuine focus on employee wellbeing and career progression.

You’ll be managing a broad client portfolio across audit and accounts, supporting a range of businesses from owner-managed companies to larger groups across a wide variety of sectors. Your role will be split between leading audits, reviewing accounts, and supporting a small team with their development.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of clients across audit and accounts
  

• Planning, leading and reviewing audits from start to finish
  

• Reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, and general compliance work
  

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping them grow and progress
  

• Building strong client relationships and providing sound business advice
  

• Working closely with partners on strategy, growth, and team development
  

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  

• Strong experience in both audit and accounts within a UK accountancy practice
  

• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio independently
  

• Confident in managing staff, reviewing work, and giving feedback
  

• Comfortable working with cloud-based accounting software
  

• Professional, personable, and eager to be part of a close-knit team
