Job Description - Audit & Accounts Manager

A leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers based in Bingley, West Yorkshire is looking for an Audit & Accounts Manager to join the team.

They have a proud history and a forward-thinking approach to providing expert audit, tax and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients across Yorkshire and beyond. They are committed to delivering excellence and fostering talent, with a strong track record of promoting from within and support clients’ success.

As Audit & Accounts Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Proactively leading and managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
  • Planning, executing and completing audit and accounts assignments in line with regulatory
    standards.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, providing training and development support.
  • Reviewing work and ensuring high-quality deliverables, reporting to directors.
  • Attending client and prospect client meetings, building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
  • Working alongside the leadership team, liaising with internal departments to provide an
    unrivalled client experience.
  • Managing work in progress and billing including agreement of fees on your portfolio of
    engagements.
We’re looking for an Audit & Accounts Manager with:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in audit & accounts.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.

This is a full-time tole, with a maximum of 2 days per week at home.
