We are seeking a motivated Semi Senior Audit & Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience within a practice environment and a strong desire to build a long-term career in a progressive firm.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Assisting on audit assignments for a variety of clients across multiple sectors.
• Drafting corporation tax computations and returns.
• Supporting with client bookkeeping and VAT returns where necessary.
• Liaising directly with clients and handling day-to-day queries.
• Working closely with seniors, managers, and partners on assignments.
• Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior staff.

Qualifications/Attributes

• Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience in a practice environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and tax principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software (such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with audit assignments.
• Knowledge of cloud-based systems.
