Are you an experienced part-qualified accountant with a solid grounding in audit and accounts? A leading Top 100 UK accountancy firm in East Hertfordshire is looking for an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join their thriving team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least two years of audit and accounts experience in practice who is ready to take on more responsibility and accelerate their progression.

The Role You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of audit and accounts assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs to larger groups across various sectors.

Your experience will be put to good use through:

Leading or assisting on-site audit assignments from planning through to completion
Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and FRS 102
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact during assignments
Reviewing junior work and supporting their development where appropriate
Working closely with seniors and managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years of audit and accounts experience within a UK accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge and a good grasp of audit procedures and UK reporting standards
Progressing with ACA or ACCA qualification (part-qualified as a minimum)
Confident communicator, able to liaise directly with clients and colleagues
Highly organised, self-motivated and eager to develop professionally
A full UK driving licence is preferred (due to client site work)
