Audit and Accounts Senior

Sheridan Maine is looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join a well-regarded accountancy firm in North London. This is a varied and hands-on role with responsibility for leading audit assignments while also managing accounts preparation for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities.

• Lead and manage audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Assist in the preparation of corporation tax computations.
• Supervise and support junior members of the audit and accounts team.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards.
• Liaise with clients to gather information and deliver clear updates.
  
  

What we’re looking for.

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist with strong relevant experience.
• Recent practice experience in both audit and accounts.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with accounting and audit software packages.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.
