Audit & Accounts Senior

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 DOE

Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per Week | Swindon

Pertemps Swindon is recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing accountancy firm for a Senior Manager in their Audit & Accounts division. This is a key leadership role with a clear path to employee RI status and Directorship, offering strong exposure to both Charity/Not-for-Profit and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver audit and account assignments for a variety of clients, including charities, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
Work with balanced systems, cloud-based platforms, and incomplete records.
Prepare draft corporation and business tax computations, with appropriate supporting analysis.
Plan and budget audit assignments, using analytical review techniques.
Lead audits and oversee all stages of the audit process.
Supervise and review junior staff work.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.
Support Managers and Partners on ad-hoc project work when required.

The Right Candidate:

ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a practice environment
Experience or strong interest in the Charity and Not-for-Profit sector
Confident using bookkeeping and cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
