Audit & Accounts Senior

We are recruiting for a Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Sheffield. This role offers excellent progression opportunities for the right candidate, with the potential to take on a portfolio of clients and develop within the firm.

The Role:

• Preparing year-end accounts under UK GAAP for a range of businesses, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders
• Leading statutory audits from planning through to completion, including site visits and audit testing
• Conducting assurance work such as grant claim audits for the public sector and solicitor accounts reporting
• Preparing management accounts and providing general practice services to clients
• Liaising directly with clients to ensure they receive the required service and support
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff, contributing to training and development

About You:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist) with experience in audit and accounts preparation
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships
• A proactive and professional approach, maintaining high standards and ethics

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
