TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Croydon that is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified, nearly qualified or recently qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a modern and supportive practice. The Role

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality audit and accounts services to a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
  
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a broad portfolio of clients
  
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
  
• Supervising and reviewing the work of trainees and junior team members
  
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout assignments
  
• Identifying audit risks and ensuring compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards
  
• Preparing management letters and communicating findings to clients
  
• Supporting Managers with the planning and delivery of client engagements
  
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication
  
• Assisting with ad hoc advisory projects as required
  

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will likely have:

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified, nearly qualified or recently qualified
  
• Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
  
• Strong audit and statutory accounts preparation experience
  
• Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
  
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
  
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
  
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
  
• A proactive attitude and ambition to progress within the firm
