Role: Audit & Accounts Senior
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependant on experience) 

This is a great opportunity to join an established and growing independent accountancy practice in Leeds, supporting a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients across Yorkshire.

The role would suit an experienced Audit Senior or Audit & Accounts Senior who is confident at taking ownership of assignments and enjoys a hands-on, client-facing position. The firm operates within a general practice environment, so there is also the opportunity to gain wider exposure across accounts and audit.

Ongoing training and professional developmentResponsibilities of the Audit & Accounts Senior job include:

Taking responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion
Heading audits independently and attending client sites
Preparing and reviewing accounts
Working across both accounts and audit assignments
Liaising directly with clients throughout assignments
Managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met
Supporting junior members of the team where required
Taking ownership of assignments and contributing from day one
Working with a varied portfolio of clients, including businesses with turnovers of approximately £10m–£20m
Supporting charity audit assignments where requiredRequirements of the Audit & Accounts Senior job include:

Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (Minimum 3 years)
ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates considered
