What the role looks like:
You’ll be supporting Managers and Client Partners across a well-rounded portfolio of SME clients, combining audit, accounts and advisory work. The role will involve:

• Preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Leading audits from planning through to completion
• Preparing corporation tax computations and advising on tax matters
• Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff
• Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming a key point of contact
• Contributing to client advisory work including systems, forecasting and process reviews
• Getting involved in project work and developing your commercial acumen
• Using cloud-based tools and supporting clients with tech-led solutions

What they’re looking for:

• 3-5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice
• ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist level
• Strong technical knowledge across audit, accounts and tax
• Comfortable reviewing juniors’ work and supporting their development
• Personable, proactive and keen to build strong client relationships
• Tech-savvy and open to using modern tools for internal and client use
• Friendly, can-do attitude with a genuine desire to grow
