Audit & Compliance Officer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Audit & Compliance Officer to support the organisation’s quality, environmental, information security and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

*

Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, maintaining audit schedules and reporting findings.

*

Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 compliance and certification activities.

*

Manage and maintain risk registers, risk assessments and PESTLE analysis.

*

Support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions.

*

Monitor and maintain GDPR/data protection compliance, including audits and security incident investigations.

*

Support environmental compliance, waste management and regulatory reporting.

*

Maintain and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.

*

Coordinate compliance training and support supplier due diligence and compliance reviews.

*

Prepare compliance reports and support management and external audit activities.

*

Contribute to the development and review of quality, environmental, information security and compliance policies.

About You

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, compliance, quality or a related role.

*

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification/experience.

*

Good working knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements.

*

Strong understanding of legal, regulatory and statutory requirements.

*

ISO 27001 Internal Auditor certification is desirable.

*

Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.

*

High attention to detail, sound judgement and ability to handle confidential information.

*

Able to work independently and collaboratively across different teams.
