Are you an experienced auditor looking to make a meaningful impact in the public sector? We're working with a leading firm that's expanding its Public Sector Audit team in Bristol and is seeking a qualified Audit Assistant Manager to join their growing practice.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading audits for public sector clients, managing teams and delivering high-quality outputs
• Applying your technical expertise in UK GAAP (FRS 101 & FRS 102), and ideally IFRS
• Using audit software and Microsoft tools to streamline processes
• Engaging with clients to understand their challenges and provide proactive solutions
• Supporting junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team culture

What we're looking for:

• ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent qualification with post-qualification experience
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 101 & FRS 102); IFRS experience is a plus
• Experience managing audits of public sector bodies in the UK would be preferred
• If no public sector audit experience, extensive experience with large audits in the UK (£100m+) will be needed to be considered
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• A genuine interest in making a difference through public sector work
• Right to work as sponsorship cannot be provided
