Audit Director

I am looking to speak with Audit RI's to lead and develop a new audit department within a well established accountancy firm. This permanent position in Bolton and requires someone who is eager and passionate to build something of their own.

Client Details

This client is a long established firm in Bolton offering a variety of accountancy services and independently owned. Due to recent expansion and client success, there is a need for an Audit RI to join the team and manage the potential audit work on the table.

Description

• Oversee and manage the full audit process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Provide technical expertise to support the team in complex accounting and finance matters.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports
• Ensure all engagements are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Business Development to continue growing an audit portfolio

Profile

A successful Audit Director should have:

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification with Responsible individual status.
• Proven experience in audit
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and auditing practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Job Offer
