Job Description - Audit Junior

Job Title: Audit Junior

Our client is a boutique accountancy, audit, tax, and corporate finance practice specialising in a vibrant and dynamic industry. As the only UK practice with a thriving regulatory department in their field, they lead the way in innovation and excellence. We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Audit Junior to join their team. Audit Junior Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits, reporting directly to managers and partners.
Support the preparation of accounts and reports, including corporation tax computations and other assignments as required.
Coordinate audit planning by liaising with relevant departments within the firm.
Develop relationships with clients and related third parties, ensuring a high level of communication.
Work within on-site audit teams, assisting in completing assignments under supervision, meeting deadlines, and adhering to budgets.
Assist in business development by promoting the firm and its services to the existing client base.
Learn and develop under the guidance of senior auditors, contributing to the team’s success.

Audit Junior Required Skills & Attributes:

Relevant degree or 6 months of experience in accounting or a similar field.
Working towards ACA or ACCA qualifications.
Basic knowledge of audit processes and willingness to learn external audit assignments.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite—proficient in Word and Excel.
Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative in tasks.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.

Salary: £30,000
