Audit Junior - Harrow Based Accountancy Practice

The Role:

As an Audit Junior, you will play an important role in supporting the audit and accounts teams on a range of client assignments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in accountancy who is looking to gain hands-on audit experience, work closely with experienced professionals, and receive full study support (ACA/ACCA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Support audit fieldwork including testing and data analysis under supervision
• Prepare audit documentation and maintain accurate working papers
• Liaise with clients to gather required financial information
• Ensure files are prepared and maintained in line with internal standards and deadlines
• Work closely with seniors and managers to support client delivery
• Attend client sites (occasionally), gaining valuable client-facing experience
• Participate in training and development sessions as part of your study support

What We're Looking For:

• Graduate (ideally in Accounting, Finance or a related field) or AAT qualified
• Actively studying towards ACA/ACCA or planning to begin soon
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and an eagerness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
