Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)

An ambitious and fast-growing accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their team. Key responsibilities:

• Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors

• Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion

• Review audit files to ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards

• Act as the main point of contact for clients on audit-related matters

• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, managing workflow and deadlines

• Collaborate with other managers and directors to support audit team growth

What they’re looking for:

• ACA or ACCA qualified

• At least 5 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice

• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and auditing standards

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong IT skills and confidence using modern audit and accounting systems

• Ability to lead a team while also working independently when required
