Audit Manager

An Audit Manager is being recruited for a large, established and growing accountancy firm based in Southampton.

As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients including managing the relationship between the client and the engagement team. You would supervise a team to deliver exceptional client service and high quality audits. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles and ensure reasonable expectations are met.
• Monitoring quality and managing risk
• Establish relationship with key contacts
• Identify and highlight any opportunities for the practice to support
• Plan, assign, monitor and review workof the team
• Managing fees and billings across the portfolio
• Understand and appreciate key commercial aspects of the clients business.
• Ensure deadlines met

You will need to be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) and have proven audit and accounts experience gained within a professional practice, together with strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, supervisory skills and the ability to delegate work and manage several assignments at the same time.
