Description

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements across various industries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Portfolio of £400k + mixture of OMB, Charities, NFP, Solicitors plus Large Commercial clients
• Review and prepare detailed audit reports with actionable insights.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members in their professional development.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing queries and providing advice.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve audit processes and efficiency.
• Identify and address risks to ensure client objectives are met effectively.
• Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in audit processes within the accounting and finance field.
• Proficiency in audit software and relevant IT systems.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in managing and leading teams effectively.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
