About the Role:

As Audit Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards. You will manage audit teams, liaise directly with clients, and play a key role in staff development and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Supervising and reviewing the work of audit staff and providing on-the-job training
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Ensuring audits are completed in line with deadlines and budget
• Identifying areas for improvement and providing strategic input to partners
• Supporting business development and contributing to proposals and pitches

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience
• Strong background in audit within a UK accountancy practice
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients
• Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in audit and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, CCH, or similar)
