Audit Manager - Top 50 Firm

AJ Chambers are representing a core client of our in the search for an Audit Manager to join their growing team in their Reading office.

About the role?

• Manage firm assignments to high standards, confirming arrangement, including costs and billing requirements
• Ensure high audit quality at all times
• Brief staff on client’s business and the pre-assignment instructions
• Supervise and control the completion of work, and to undertake 'on the job’ training including appraisals
• Ensure the job has been completed within budget.
• Laise with clients
• Maintain a high technical knowledge through reading and courses.
• Act as line manager to students and seniors
• Attend staff meetings and training as required
• Carry out other adhoc task

Attributes and qualifications?

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experience operating at manager level in a similar role
• Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients
• Charity experience (desirable but not essential)
• Business development experience (advantageous)
• Proven wide audit experience & producing high quality audits
• Audit experience within the SME sector would be advantageous
