Audit Partner

Meraki Talent have been engaged by a growing, independent Chartered Accountancy Firm company based across the Central Belt region to identify an Audit Partner to support the next stage of their journey.
Since Covid, the firm has undergone exceptional growth and has become an established leader in the region in the practice space.  
  
Long term plan:
The firms long term plan is to build out their audit function and capitalise on their current market presence across the West coast of Scotland.
A large part of the role will revolve around:

• Building out the client base via strategic business development efforts
• Building a team around you to deliver on projects
• Creating a collaborative and welcoming environment

Culture is crucial to the partner group, they are eager to maintain a people orientated and collaborative culture, one where all are encouraged to fail through learning along their journeys together, and work together on training and best practice for junior staff members.
  
Key responsibilities:

• Build and grow the dedicated audit department in line with the firm’s ambitious growth plans.
• Lead the development of the commercial, corporate and third sector audit niche, building on existing marketing momentum.
• Shape the audit strategy and help “siphon off” and formalise the audit function into a stronger standalone service line.
• Maintain and strengthen firm culture during rapid growth and potential acquisitions.
