Butler Rose Public Practice is pleased to support our client, a well-regarded and established mid-tier accounting firm in Walsall, in their search for an Audit Semi Senior professional. This role is perfect for someone studying for their ACA or ACCA qualification and looking to join a dynamic audit team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Participate in audit assignments at client locations, providing assistance as needed.
• Prepare statutory and client accounts for partnerships and limited liability companies, along with tax calculations.
• Prepare trial balance accounts, asset and liability balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts.
• Draft reports on systems, controls, client business matters, and financial statements.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring appropriate manager or supervisor oversight.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 1 year of practice accounting experience as a Semi-Senior or Trainee Accountant.
• Ideally studying or eager to study towards ACA or ACCA qualifications.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with clients.
