The Role

As an Audit Semi Senior, you'll work alongside a close knit team of other professionals on a range of audit assignments. Training can be provided in any areas required, you don't need to be the finished article! Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Work on a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with seniors, managers, and partners as required.
• Take on increasing responsibility as you develop, including leading smaller audits and assisting with fieldwork.
• Assist in planning audit engagements, including defining budgets, timelines, and objectives.
• Perform audit testing, sampling, and procedures in line with the audit plan.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, support, and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Prepare detailed audit documentation, working papers, and draft reports for review by senior auditors or managers.
• Recommend improvements to internal controls and operational processes.
• Ensure audit procedures comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Analyse financial statements and prepare corporation tax computations.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, resolve queries, and build strong, lasting relationships.
• Contribute to a collaborative working environment by building productive relationships with team members and colleagues.

Requirements

As this is a semi senior position, we're happy to consider any candidates that have 18 months+ experience (or close to that) and are currently studying towards the ACA/ACCA qualification.
