TPF Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and dynamic accountancy practice based in Farnham, Surrey. We’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Audit Assistant to join a growing audit team in a firm that truly values its people.

As a Senior Audit Assistant, you’ll be joining a close-knit audit team and reporting directly to the Audit Specialist. You’ll be involved in audit fieldwork for a variety of clients, typically working in small teams alongside Managers and Partners.

This role will see you:

• Taking responsibility for sections of audit files
  

• Liaising with team members to complete fieldwork
  

• Getting involved with planning and completion
  

• Supporting project management for smaller clients
  

• Working with both established and newly onboarded audit clients
  

• Participating in wider firm initiatives and gaining broader exposure during quieter audit periods
  

You’ll need to have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in audit within a UK accountancy practice
  

• Be part-qualified ACA or ACCA with a genuine drive to complete your qualification
  

• Great communication and client relationship skills
  

• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  

• A proactive, positive and collaborative attitude
  

• A solid grounding in Excel and ideally some experience with Xero or other cloud software
  

• The right to work in the UK (unfortunately, no visa sponsorship is available)
