Job Description - Audit Senior

Crowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Swansea in the search for an Audit Senior. As Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with a broad portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors. You will support junior team members, manage client relationships, and liaise with managers and partners to ensure high standards of service delivery. This is a client-facing role that would suit an ambitious individual looking to build their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audits from planning through to completion
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Prepare and review financial statements and audit documentation
  • Liaise with clients and manage expectations throughout the audit process
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
  • Assist in the development of junior staff and review their work
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified (or finalist)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple assignments
  • Proficient in accounting and audit software packages
