Audit Senior

A thriving, forward-thinking accountancy practice in Staffordshire is expanding and looking for a confident and capable Audit Senior to join their high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA auditor to take on a pivotal role, leading on-site fieldwork and building trusted relationships with a quality client base.

Responsibilities:-

• Leading "on-site" audit fieldwork at clients’ premises across the region
• Managing the audit team onsite and being the primary point of contact for client management
• Reporting directly to Audit Managers or Partners
• Completing audit files and drafting audited financial statements in line with FRS 102
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to qualifying)
• Minimum of 3 years’ external audit experience
• Proven experience leading audit assignments and reporting upwards
• Strong accounts preparation experience
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Competent Excel user (experience with ProAudit, IRIS, SAGE beneficial)

Salary up to £50,000 pa DOE
