Audit Senior

Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for delivering high-quality audit services? A well-established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Senior to join their team in Bridgnorth.

As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and supporting the growth of the firm. You’ll work closely with audit managers and contribute to the delivery of exceptional service in a dynamic and evolving business environment.

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
• Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored audit plans
• Perform fieldwork including control and substantive testing
• Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Stay up to date with UK accounting and auditing standards
• Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated client services

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2–3 years of external audit experience, ideally in a professional services firm
• Strong understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required
