Audit Senior

Spencer Clarke Group are on the look out for an experienced Audit Senior who has 12-24 months+ experience working at Senior Level within an Accountancy firm. This role will be based within Manchester City Centre.

We are searching for someone who is ACA or ACCA Qualified and has experience/is confident in speaking to Clients, Managers and Assistants.

Ideally we are searching for someone who has experience using CCH Accounts Production and Audit Automation, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential, as full training will be given for this software)

We need someone who is personable, friendly, upbeat and confident as the role is very much client facing (in person, email and phone etc) and fast paced.

What this role entails:

• Planning, and performing, audit testing, and completing external audits of small and medium sized companies and charities.
• Supporting and reporting to the Audit manager.
• Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of Audit assistants within the team.
• Preparation of financial statements for charities, and small and medium sized companies as part of the audit engagement (if this is wanted).
• Preparation of corporation tax computations.
