Job Description - Audit Senior

Are you an experienced Audit professional seeking your next career move? Our client, a highly respected and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants based in Wigan, is looking for an ambitious Audit Senior to join their growing team. The successful Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion, supervising junior staff, and ensuring the highest level of client service is delivered. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits from planning to completion, liaising with clients and managing deadlines
  • Supervise, support, and develop junior team members
  • Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing advisory support when required
  • Work closely with partners and managers to deliver excellent service
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist) with relevant audit experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple assignments effectively
