The Role of a Audit Technical Specialist:

• Provide technical advice and support on UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)
• Support staff with audit and accounts software, including CaseWare and data analytics tools
• Keep abreast of evolving standards and regulations, sharing updates across the business
• Assist in developing and delivering technical training sessions
• Identify opportunities for audit process improvements and efficiencies
• Collaborate on projects including ESG and Sustainability reporting initiatives

The Ideal Audit Technical Specialist Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or part-qualified
• Strong technical expertise across audit and financial reporting standards
• An analytical, proactive, and solutions-driven mindset
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical content for mixed audiences
• Strong interest in audit tech, data analytics, and ESG reporting trends
• A collaborative team player who thrives on sharing knowledge and supporting others
