This role is ideal for a motivated audit professional who enjoys a varied workload and is looking to develop their skills within a supportive team and an international client environment. You will be responsible for delivering both audit and accounts services across a broad client portfolio, with a strong emphasis on quality and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support statutory audits from planning through to completion
• Prepare year-end financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Review and support the work of junior team members
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide clear communication throughout the engagement
• Assist partners and managers in managing audit files and client relationships
• Work on international group audits and consolidations where required
• Contribute to maintaining high technical and compliance standards within the firm

Requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (study support available if needed)
• Experience in audit and accounts preparation within a UK accountancy practice
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP (knowledge of IFRS is a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments
• Experience with CCH, Caseware, Xero, QuickBooks, or other leading accounting platforms is advantageous
• Exposure to international clients or group audits is desirable
