Job Title: Auto Electrician
Location: Cheshire
Salary: Dayshift: Starting from £13.84 per hour, dependent on experience (overtime available)
Nightshift: Starting from £15.92 per hour, dependent on experience (overtime available)
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Objectives
You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of 12V and 24V electrical systems on trailers and vehicle bodies. Candidates must have experience working with lighting, batteries, motors, and PLC circuits, as well as fault finding and diagnostics. Strong manual skills including crimping, soldering, and the ability to read and follow circuit drawings are essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Install and commission electrical systems in line with technical drawings and specification sheets
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
* Follow instructions provided by team members and supervisors
* Maintain good housekeeping in the production area
* Comply with all Health & Safety rules and regulations
* Use raw materials and consumables efficiently to minimise waste
* Always maintain a safe and tidy working environment
* Be flexible in approach-additional duties may be required (with appropriate training provided)

Key Skills & Experience
This role is ideal for a hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated individual. Suitable candidates will have:
* Experience in manufacturing, ideally within commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer production
* Hands-on experience wiring electrical components/systems on HGV trailers
* Confidence using various hand tools
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
* Ability to maintain consistent output and quality standards
